Renaissance-21 at Carnegie Hall
A new orchestration. An international collaboration.
The MidAtlantic Philharmonic Orchestra joins Renaissance-21 for a program featuring Teodor Doré’s new orchestration of Rachmaninoff’s Suite in D minor.
The American launch of Renaissance-21 brings the MidAtlantic Philharmonic Orchestra to Zankel Hall, with Jason Tramm as principal conductor and Olsi Qinami as guest conductor.
The program features Teodor Doré’s new orchestration of Rachmaninoff’s Suite in D minor, alongside Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1, vocal selections, and contemporary music. Doré’s orchestration draws on the surviving piano version; the original orchestral manuscript remains lost.
